YJ wave 4: found (pg 3)

It has been 2 weeks since I went to a Target that had in wave 3 and I bought all but two Icicle Jr.  Today I went back and the same Icicle Jr. on the shelf and the rest are empty.  I am beginning to think we have seen the last of the YJ figures to hit the shelves.  If they did not replace there stock then I think they may not even order wave 4.

This is sad news.  I really wanted Artemis to finish my YJ and to have another female to customize with.  I have a strange feeling we will have to wait till Mattel offers them on the website in a four pack for around
#40-50 dollars.

The other bad news is we will not get to see the following figures that would have come out:
Mr Freeze
Red Tornado
Black Manta
Batgirl
Captain Marvel
Red Arrow
c-n-c Lagoon Boy

I know how you feel.  I've seen pictures of Wave 4 that includes a Batgirl figure.  What do they do with the figures when they cancel after doing a new run?

The Matty Retail guy (not Toyguru) said that wave 4 was produced for store orders and we should see them on shelves. But he didn't say which stores.

As for the rest ... They said they were going to try to figure some way to get them to out since the tooling was already done, but had nothing figured out yet.

i think we'll wind up getting wave 4 probably as matty exclusives.

There's no way they're going on Matty. TG has shot that down several times and done so quickly. They'll leak out to retail somewhere and everything else will disappear.

Matty Justice League (Young Justice's version on Toyguru over at Mattel) has said that the Artemis wave will be released. Hopefully it will be soon. You can also add Captain Marvel and Red Arrow to the list of tooled but unreleased figures. There's a ton of these tooled figures, I can't see Mattel not wanting to find a way to get these out to make up some of their money.

I also want the package from the 4th wave so I can take pic of my custom YJ in the skinnier package.  silly but it is fun.

I've been seeing the pictures of the new figures but does anyone know when or if they are coming out.  I have found the older ones at Target and Wal Mart, but both places seem to taking them out of the Toy set.

Someone posted in Ask MAtty to find out which stores ordered Wave 4 ... hopefully we get an answer.

I just do not understand why they will not sell them on there site in a four pack.  Yes I would like to get extras of Robin and Artemis, but really I can figure out other uses for a Green Lantern and Superman (more Superman Robots).

Because they make an infinitely higher amount selling them to retail stores and then they don't have to worry about whether they sell or not. To make this super simple, would you rather sell something for 10 dollars and never have to worry about it again, or sell something yourself - make only 2 dollars - and still have leftover stuff you don't want?

With most of the stores around me still stuck with Wave 1, it wouldn't surprise me if Wave 4 came out at either Big Lots, Dollar General or another discount place

Maby I was not clear.  I wouldn't mind spending $40 on the wave 4.  This is the same price that they are selling at TRU.  For Mattel this is all profeit.

that's if they could make them at such a low quantity and still be able to sell them at $40 to make any profit. Basically we've been told that the DC animated sales online aren't profitable for them to continue.
